HDD Applications Manager Europe, Johnson Matthey AB - Gothenburg (or Royston, UK; Redwitz, Germany)
Following an internal promotion, Johnson Matthey have a vacancy for the position as Heavy-Duty Diesel (HDD) Applications Manager, Europe, reporting into the HDD Technology Director, Europe.
As a key member of the HDD Technology Management Team, the HDD Applications Manager will develop the application engineering services to the European heavy duty engine manufacturers, coordinate the various technical activities and programs, and consolidate the skills and knowledge base amongst the HDD Application team members across the European region.
The successful candidate will develop effective relationships for frequent communication with customers, account managers and product development teams. The position will be based at one of our three technical centers (Gothenburg, Sweden; Royston, UK or Redwitz, Germany), and will require a significant amount of international travel.
Qualification:
The ideal candidate will have:
A profound understanding of the HDD industry, its challenges and development directions
A very strong customer focus, combined with a practical and service-oriented mindset
Ability to manage and develop a team of high level technical specialists
A strong background within applied emission control technology, preferably a PhD degree combined with significant relevant industrial experience
Proficiency in English language (written and verbal). Further European language skills are considered a merit.
