Job Description Summary
The assignment will be placed at a pharmaceutical company.
The responsibilities of this role will be to direct all analytical activities for a key brand of the therapeutic area and cooperate with country and brand leadership teams.

The role
In the role as Business Intelligence Manager you lead the work related to forecasting and performance follow up and insight gathering and provide input to the Business Units in the Nordic countries with regards to sales potential and portfolio management.

Together with the Country Directors, Business Unit Heads, Franchise Leads and Senior Finance Business Partners, you co-ordinate internal business review activities. You contribute to the analysis and conclusions of quantitative and qualitative market research in close collaboration with Franchise Leads and Brand Managers. This includes working with the BU leaders to suggest tangible forecast assumptions based on insights, pro-actively suggest conclusions and ensure focus on the broader picture for the unit’s specific situation.

To be successful in this role you are expected to contribute to the Business Unit’s general development in terms of turnover and profitability planning. You work closely together with BUs as well as Finance to ensure good knowledge of the business as well as the financial situation.

What you will do:
•Plan the business, together with BU Heads, Franchise Leads and the Senior Finance BP, by ensuring fact-based forecasting and sensitivity analyses
•Build forecasting around insights from e.g. product launches, sales development, pricing, customer trends and phase out
•Business analysis to identify trends, opportunities and gaps
•Ensure common framework and process for generating relevant competitive intelligence
•Ensure alignment with frameworks from Finance
•Work closely with global Business Analyst and Insight team to ensure alignment with global forecast models
•Provide leadership to ensure pro-active input to high quality treatment/patient journey

In order to succeed you have:
•B.Sc degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (e.g. Finance or Marketing)
•Excellent knowledge in English language, both in writing and speaking
•Excellent communication skills
•Proven excellent analytical skills
•Thorough understanding of marketing and business insight
•Previous experience in analysing complex and extensive market data
•Portfolio analysis (ex banking or Generic/Parallel trade Pharma)
•Previous experience in pharmaceutical marketing, finance and/or sales desired

You will be a core partner for the product and portfolio strategy development and therefore need to have a demonstrated good understanding of the customers, market conditions, competitive landscape, products, and trends.

You must have strong leadership capabilities and be able to plan in different time perspectives, with a long-term business vision in mind and to break it down into shorter time frames for planning purposes.

You cooperate well with all other relevant functions with good understanding of the interdependencies, such as Brand Lead and Managers, Sales Managers, Finance and Commercial Excellence.

Your proven ability to communicate well and impact the business activities indirectly for the relevant functions will be important to ensure alignment with the business unit’s targets.
