Application Engineer within 3D-software for the construction industry, Leica Geosystems - Stockholm
As Application Engineer at Leica, you are the vital link between product management and R&D. A key task is to translate market needs into product requirements. You have close contacts with retailers and end customers to provide a detailed picture of the customer's needs, which is then translated into clear requirements delivered to R&D. You play an important role in product development projects and you ensure that the products live up to expectations. Another key task is to provide second line support to the sell organization. You also provide training and assist the marketing department with technical information for brochures and educational materials.
The position includes international travel.

Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor or Masters degree within a relevant field, such as surveying or system science. You have experience in requirements management and knowledge in software development processes. As a person you are very technically minded and motivated by active customer contacts. The products are aimed at the construction industry and it is important that you feel comfortable in such an environment. You speak and write English fluently, and preferable also in Swedish.
